I have been on this site for a few days and I have already pinpointed a couple of MLM (multi-level marketing) schemes and a few obvious scammers. If you are someone seeking help, please first try legitimate organizations that can be verified through the government or at least the Better Business Bureau. If you are seeking a job, remember if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. If you are a donor (which I doubt many are out here), please be careful. Although there are many people in true need out here, there are some just looking to make easy money. Anyone can make up a good story. Do not wire money anywhere. Remember sending giftcards is like sending money in the mail; those cannot be traced. Do not give out your personal information. Do not trust individuals who offer to give you a check only after you have provided them with an initial fee. Usually the checks are bogus and you will lose even more money. In the end, we are all adults and ultimately make our own decisions just please be careful. Oh one afterthought, never never send your money out of the country. Once it's gone, it's gone.
